• Groove, melody, and world music inspiration are all things that Brussels based artist Lexx, born Alexandre Cofsman, prioritises behind club decks and in the studio.
  
  
  
  
  
   

  His selection and attention to detail are the fruit of a 20 year career as a DJ and more recently a producer. Having started working in a record shop as a teenager, it’s the habit of listening to records that have crafted his universe and, in turn, his own sound. Having started playing drums and African-style percussion at an early age which quickly led to a particular connection to rhythm, Lexx decided to learn mixing in a school in Paris in 1997.
  
  
  
  
  
  It only took two years for his career to truly take off with regular bookings and residencies, however things really took a turn with his string of highly successful club nights in Brussels : ON. This concept, which has amassed a close following by a large group of regulars since 2015, is what Lexx calls home when it comes to his job. Taking care of the bookings and a large part of the organisation in addition to DJing - Lexx created his own space where he could try new things in his own mixes and invite some of the leading artists in his style. He’s shared the decks with countless giants in the scene including Mind Against, Adriatique, Rampa, &Me, Damien Lazzarus, and Black Coffee. He has played at Burning Man, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, and even hosts his own ON stage at Voodoo Village in Belgium among countless others. Lexx’s career doesn’t stop at festivals however, he’s played clubs all over Europe and in Israel. With his selection and original tracks constantly staying fresh and contemporary, Lexx has a solid career behind him that is far from slowing down.
